Arsenal vs Brighton first half live

The transfer window has finally closed, but I don’t anticipate many of our new arrivals featuring on the pitch today, at least not from the start.

However, I do expect Jurrien Timber, who feels like a new signing after his return, to play alongside White, Gabriel, and Saliba. Hopefully, we’ll see Calafiori make a brief appearance towards the end of the match, as he did previously.

In midfield, I don’t foresee any changes either. Partey, Rice, and Odegaard are likely to start. The situation might have been different if Merino hadn’t gotten injured within his first two weeks at the club.

The attack is where things could get interesting. The key question is whether Trossard will start over Martinelli. I believe he will, with Saka and Odegaard occupying the other two spots behind Havertz.

Arteta is gradually introducing Sterling into the team, so we may see him make a small cameo if we’re comfortably ahead later in the game.

Now, we just have to wait for Arteta to confirm the final Arsenal lineup.
