BREAKING NEWS: Manchester United has finalized the £40m signing of a superstar after agreeing on salary terms last night. The deal is confirmed, and a medical examination will take place today.

After weeks of anticipation, Manchester United have finally reached an agreement to sign Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt. The prolonged transfer saga has come to a close, and it seems only a matter of time before the duo are officially unveiled in the Red Devils’ colors.

However, Manchester United’s activity in the transfer market appears far from over. The club is still actively pursuing additional defensive reinforcements, indicating that the board is determined to make substantial improvements to the squad this transfer window.

According to the Spanish outlet Fichajes, Manchester United are now looking to finalize a deal for Fenerbahce’s left-back Ferdi Kadıoğlu.

The Turkish international has attracted attention with his impressive performances in the Euro 2024 qualifiers, much like several of his compatriots.

About a month ago, reports emerged suggesting that Manchester United were leading the race to sign the 24-year-old, having already submitted a bid. Fenerbahce is reportedly seeking around £30 million for Kadıoğlu’s transfer this summer.

Kadıoğlu is primarily a left-back but is highly versatile, capable of playing in central midfield or at right-back. This adaptability is particularly noteworthy, as it offers the team greater flexibility. His pace and explosiveness on the left flank make him a valuable asset.

Currently, Manchester United have Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia available for the left-back position. However, both players have struggled with injuries over the past year. In fact, Shaw has been plagued by injuries throughout his career. Given the frequency of these setbacks, manager Erik ten Hag is likely seeking additional cover for the position.

Kadıoğlu is an exciting prospect, and his signing would be a strong move for Manchester United this summer. It remains to be seen whether the Turkish international will make his way to Old Trafford before the start of the season.
