Real Madrid has made it clear that they are not considering selling Aurelien Tchouameni, despite significant interest from Premier League clubs such as Arsenal and Liverpool. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 24-year-old midfielder will remain at the Bernabéu, countering speculation that he might be on the move.
Since joining Real Madrid from Monaco in July 2022, Tchouameni has made a notable impact with 93 appearances, contributing three goals and five assists. His strong performances have caught the eye of several top clubs, especially Arsenal, who have long admired him, and Liverpool, who nearly signed him in 2022.
Rumors had suggested that Real Madrid could be open to selling Tchouameni if the right offer came along. However, Romano has firmly dismissed these suggestions, stating that the likelihood of Tchouameni leaving is “zero.” On his Here We Go podcast, Romano explained that both Tchouameni and Real Madrid view him as a vital component of the club’s immediate and long-term plans. The club highly values his professionalism and contributions.
Despite facing injury issues with key defenders such as Eder Militao and David Alaba, Real Madrid is planning for Tchouameni’s return from a foot injury. There is even the possibility that he may be utilized as a central defender in their upcoming match against Real Sociedad.
For the time being, Real Madrid is steadfast in their decision to keep Tchouameni, fully committed to his role as a crucial player for the team’s future.
