Hansi Flick paves the way for exits as three Barcelona players are more likely to leave than stay!

Barcelona are still competing for the league title this season, but coach Hansi Flick is already making plans for the future. As part of his vision for the next campaign, three players appear to be excluded from his plans and could leave the club in the summer.

According to the Spanish newspaper El Nacional, Flick has decided not to rely on Ansu Fati, Pablo Torre, and Iñaki Peña moving forward.

These players have struggled to secure their places in the squad, making their departures likely when the transfer window opens.

Ansu Fati was once considered one of Barcelona’s brightest young talents, expected to lead the team in the post-Messi era. However, his career has been hampered by injuries, and his loan spell at Brighton did not help him regain his best form.

Flick no longer sees him as a key player, especially with strong competition in attack from Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, and Ferran Torres. As a result, Fati’s time at Camp Nou seems to be coming to an end.

Another player set to leave is Pablo Torre. When he joined Barcelona, he was regarded as one of the most promising midfielders in Spain. However, he has failed to establish himself in the team.

His loan spell at Girona did not significantly boost his development, and Flick has prioritized other midfielders such as Gavi, Pedri, and Dani Olmo. Additionally, Fermin Lopez is now ahead of him in the pecking order.

While Barcelona are open to selling Torre in the summer, a loan move remains a possibility, with clubs like Real Sociedad and Villarreal reportedly interested. His market value is estimated at around €10-15 million.

The third player Flick has excluded from his plans is Iñaki Peña. Once seen as a potential successor to Marc-André ter Stegen, Peña has lost the coach’s confidence.

With Wojciech Szczęsny extending his contract until 2026, Peña has been pushed further down the pecking order. Realizing that he is no longer the club’s second-choice goalkeeper, he has already requested to leave in search of regular playing time.

By parting ways with these three players, Barcelona hopes to generate funds to strengthen other areas of the squad. Flick’s decision appears final, leaving no room for reconsideration—Ansu Fati, Pablo Torre, and Iñaki Peña are now more likely to leave than stay.
