A Premier League club has officially submitted a loan offer to Barcelona, and Pablo Torre, who has been struggling for playing time, has finally made his decision. According to SPORT, Premier League side Bournemouth are eager to sign Torre on loan with an option to buy as the January transfer window nears its conclusion.

The English club has already approached Barcelona to discuss a potential deal for the young midfielder, who has seen minimal action at Camp Nou. Bournemouth, currently managed by Andoni Iraola, have been one of the Premier League’s surprise performers this season and are strongly pushing for European qualification.

Iraola has long admired Torre’s talents and had previously sought to sign him during his time at Rayo Vallecano, though a move never materialized. Now at Bournemouth, the Spanish coach sees Torre as a player who could thrive in England with more playing time.

Bournemouth’s primary plan is to secure Torre on a loan deal with an option to buy, but they are also open to negotiating a permanent transfer with a buyback clause for Barcelona. Given their successful dealings in the past—such as the transfer of Julian Araujo—Bournemouth and Barcelona maintain a strong working relationship, which could facilitate an agreement.

Torre remains under contract with Barcelona until 2026, but the club has yet to initiate talks regarding an extension. While the Blaugrana appreciate his commitment and professionalism, they may be open to letting him go due to the crowded nature of their midfield.
