Nico Williams, the 22-year-old winger for Athletic Club, has opened up about how intense transfer rumors—particularly links to FC Barcelona—impacted his performances at the start of the season.

His performance in their victory over Rangers—where he scored the decisive goal—was a strong indicator that he’s returned to form. He credited the support of his teammates and fans for helping him regain his confidence and deliver some of his best football this season.
