The summer transfer market is gathering pace, and AC Milan defender Malick Thiaw has become one of the most sought-after names. Interest in Thiaw also stretches beyond England. Bayer Leverkusen are keen to bring him back to Germany, believing his style suits their tactical setup perfectly. The club’s sporting directors have reportedly started talks with Milan, hoping to lure the defender back to the Bundesliga before the window closes.
In an unexpected twist, Serie A newcomers Como agreed a €25 million fee with Milan and offered Thiaw a generous €4 million annual salary. Surprisingly, he turned it down, prioritizing a move to a club with greater competitive ambitions over immediate financial reward.
