BREAKING NEWS: Chelsea makes an irresistible offer for two underperforming Barcelona players

Chelsea are reportedly eyeing Paris Saint-Germain defender Willian Pacho as a potential signing for 2025. At just 23 years old, the Ecuadorian could be available for a relatively modest fee despite being a key player for PSG.

Currently, Chelsea sit third in the Premier League after 13 games, a surprising position given their extensive squad changes over the summer.

Under the guidance of Enzo Maresca, the team has shown impressive form. Cole Palmer continues to shine, while Nicolas Jackson has rediscovered his goal-scoring touch. The defense has also been solid, providing much-needed stability.

Despite their strong performance, Chelsea remain active in the transfer market, reportedly considering a massive €150 million bid for Barcelona defenders Jules Kounde and Ronald Araujo.

The current partnership of Levi Colwill and Wesley Fofana has been reliable, but the club is keeping an eye on additional options, including Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah and Club Brugge’s Joel Orondez.

Kounde and Araujo have long been linked to Chelsea, with Kounde nearly joining before his 2022 move to Barcelona, and Araujo also coming close to a Stamford Bridge transfer earlier this year. Now, Willian Pacho has emerged as a surprising target.

According to reports from Spanish outlet Fichajes, Chelsea are admirers of the young defender, even though he is less than six months into his five-year contract with PSG.

The report claims PSG are reluctant to part with Pacho, who has been instrumental in their system. However, a significant offer from Chelsea could force the French club to reconsider, particularly if they see an opportunity to reinvest the funds. For his part, Pacho remains focused on his performances and is reportedly unbothered by the transfer speculation.

Pacho joined PSG during the summer for a fee potentially rising to €45 million. He has quickly made an impression, starting in 15 matches across all competitions.

His performances have caught Chelsea’s attention as the club looks to strengthen its squad for the future.
