Eric Garcia’s future, however, seems more straightforward. Limited playing time this season has left him surplus to requirements at Barcelona.

Barcelona’s defensive lineup already features key players like Ronald Araujo, Inigo Martinez, and rising star Coparsi, whose emergence has reduced the need for Garcia’s services.

With solid defensive depth, Flick sees little value in keeping Garcia, preferring to allocate resources more effectively elsewhere.
