According to reports from the Catalan newspaper “Sport,” Brazilian winger Raphinha appeared particularly frustrated after the loss. His anger was directed at teammate Robert Lewandowski, whom he reportedly blamed for missing several clear goal-scoring opportunities that could have changed the outcome of the match.
The newspaper revealed that Raphinha has previously expressed concerns about Lewandowski’s form, questioning his fitness and sharpness in front of goal.
He had even suggested to coach Hansi Flick that the Polish striker should be left out of the starting lineup for key matches. However, Flick continued to trust Lewandowski, a decision that seems to have backfired in this crucial encounter.
Raphinha’s frustration reflects deeper concerns within the Barcelona camp about the team’s attacking efficiency. The Brazilian reportedly believes that Barcelona’s hopes of competing for the La Liga title could be jeopardized if they continue to waste valuable scoring chances in matches.
