I thought the team put in an outstanding performance today. Honestly, we should have been two or three goals ahead early on.
Of course, there were periods when we faced a strong team that pushed us back and made us play deeper. That’s normal against top sides. However, on the whole, the team performed brilliantly, both collectively and individually. Several players lifted their game to what I would consider peak performance levels this season.
Regarding Eze’s exceptional goal, the technique on display was phenomenal. The way he struck the ball with such precision and power made a real impact. The sound of the ball hitting the net spoke for itself, and the reactions of his teammates reflected exactly why he is an essential part of this squad.
