Borussia Dortmund’s manager, Edin Terzic, acknowledged that Jadon Sancho’s future might lie away from the German club but predicted that the English player would participate in another Champions League final during his career.

“After a Champions League final loss, finding the right words is tough,” the German-Croatian manager admitted. “I have a mix of emotions. I am both proud and empty.

“Analyzing the past year is difficult, but we’ve had a season full of highs and lows, many changes, and games that didn’t go our way. Today exemplifies what this team can achieve.

“There was significant disappointment among the group and staff in the dressing room. But what’s notable is that we showed from the start that we were here to win, not just to play in a final. This brings mixed feelings.
