Breaking news:Arsenal declines loan proposals from Serie A clubs for a 23-year-old player.

AC Milan is actively pursuing defensive reinforcements in the January transfer window, with Jakub Kiwior emerging as a target. According to Daniele Longo’s report on Calciomercato, both AC Milan and AS Roma expressed interest in Kiwior, but Arsenal has firmly rejected any negotiation, particularly against a loan deal proposed by AS Roma.

Luca Bianchin of Gazzetta had previously highlighted Milan’s interest in Kiwior during his time in Serie A, making him a player they are keen to acquire. Despite an attempt by Sevilla to secure Kiwior on loan earlier this month, Arsenal, under Mikel Arteta’s management, blocked the move, ensuring the player’s stay in north London for the 2023/24 season.

In an interesting twist of fate, Arsenal found themselves drawn against Sevilla in the Champions League group stage following the unsuccessful transfer negotiation. Kiwior, the center-back in question, has already made eight appearances for Arsenal this season, consisting of four starts and four late substitute appearances. The Poland international’s notable performances have caught attention, not only at the club level but also in the international arena, where he played the full 90 minutes in every Poland international match in 2023, amounting to eight games.
