Arteta is uncertain about the fitness of two Arsenal players for the match against Chelsea.

Mikel Arteta has revealed that Bukayo Saka is eager to make a return for the upcoming match against Chelsea but has not yet decided if he’s fully fit. Saka missed the previous game against Manchester City due to a hamstring injury from the Champions League match against RC Lens and also had to withdraw from the England squad. Arteta mentioned that the winger has been working hard to regain his fitness for the Chelsea game, saying, “He’s been putting in a lot of effort to be ready for this match.” Arteta expressed his confidence that Saka wants to be on the starting 11.

Additionally, William Saliba’s availability for the game is uncertain due to a toe injury that led to his withdrawal from the France squad. Arteta mentioned that they used the international break to address the issue but the extent of his recovery depends on how he performs in training.
