I’m weary of it, and it seems Arsenal may top the league table when it comes to receiving apologies from the PGMOL. However, Man City is likely to clinch the title again, and nobody will seem to care. So, what’s the purpose of all this frustration? Well, it’s actually quite straightforward. While Arsenal fans like you and me are fed up with the decisions that often go against our team, we must be honest and acknowledge that even though this happens frequently, it shouldn’t matter as much as it does.

If Arsenal consistently played at their best throughout a season, approached every game correctly, executed their plans effectively, or adapted their strategies as needed, officiating errors would become insignificant. Mikel Arteta’s team would triumph regardless, and that’s what needs to change.

While I’m certain I’ll keep complaining about the need for better officiating, I also need to be humble enough to realize that this constant griping stems from Arsenal’s inability to take the referee out of the equation.
