Zinchenko issues a cautionary message to Mudryk in anticipation of the Chelsea vs. Arsenal match.

Oleksandr Zinchenko has given Mykhailo Mudryk a stern warning not to replicate his impressive performance for Ukraine against Malta when Arsenal faces Chelsea this upcoming weekend.

Both players, who share a strong bond as part of the Ukraine national team, had sparked Arsenal’s interest last January due to this connection. However, Mudryk eventually chose Chelsea, and he has faced challenges since his move to the West London club.

Arsenal is gearing up to confront Chelsea this weekend, and it coincides with Mudryk hitting top form since his arrival in the Premier League. Consequently, he presents a significant threat to Arsenal and may be eager to make an impact against them.

Mudryk’s recent outstanding goal against Malta has undoubtedly boosted his confidence, but Zinchenko, in no uncertain terms, conveyed his message, as quoted by Metro Sport:

“I told him… ‘if you do or attempt to do that on Saturday, I’ll rip your balls off.’

However, Zinchenko also acknowledged the importance of the goal Mudryk scored for the national team, as it helped stabilize the game.

In light of Mudryk’s status as one of Chelsea’s top players, it’s expected that he will be determined to perform well against Arsenal and demonstrate that his decision to join Chelsea was the right one. Nevertheless, Arsenal has faith in their defenders to excel in the game and limit Mudryk’s impact.
