Attacker’reveals it’s dream’ to join Enzo Maresca at Chelsea as £80 million player told to join

After Chelsea announced their agreement with Estevao’s club, Palmeiras, on social media, the young player described joining Chelsea as a “dream come true.”

Despite having only played 22 professional games for Palmeiras, Estevao’s significant impact in Brazil prompted Chelsea to secure his transfer to the Premier League. However, he will not join Chelsea until the next season.

This announcement came after weekend rumors about a potential deal worth up to £52 million with Palmeiras. Estevao has reportedly signed a nine-year contract with Chelsea, set to expire in 2033.

Chelsea is said to be paying £29 million upfront, with an additional £23 million in potential add-ons. The player is expected to join Chelsea after the Club World Cup in the United States next summer.

Following the confirmation of his move, Estevao expressed his excitement on social media, calling the transfer a “dream come true.” He thanked his supporters on his Instagram Story and X, formerly Twitter, and mentioned Chelsea, punctuating his posts with two blue heart emojis.

Meanwhile, Dwight Yorke has advised Chelsea to pursue Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, who is likely to leave the Red Devils this transfer window.

Sancho was once considered one of the most creative wingers in the Bundesliga, expected to deliver around 20 assists per season.

His move to Manchester United was supposed to be a significant step in his career, but off-field issues and conflicts with his manager, coupled with inconsistent performances, led to his return to Borussia Dortmund on loan.

Since returning to Dortmund in January, Sancho has scored three goals and registered one assist in all competitions. Despite this resurgence, he is still expected to leave Manchester United this summer.

Yorke believes Sancho may still have a future in Manchester and suggests the winger seek a loan move to Chelsea or Barcelona while monitoring the managerial situation at Manchester United.

Yorke stated that Sancho should consider a loan to a top club, like Chelsea or Barcelona, to wait and see if Ten Hag remains in charge. If the managerial situation changes, Sancho could then revive his career at Manchester United.
