BREAKING NEWS: “I’ve watched the two Arsenal players very well so far this season and they really suit my Barcelona style, we are ready to pay their price”- Barcelona New Manager Hansi Flick confirms Barca are seriously interested and are ready to make a ‘huge offer’ for TWO Arsenal brilliant stars who could become monsters at the Camp Nou

According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona is expressing keen interest in securing the services of two standout players from Arsenal as the January transfer window looms.

The Catalan club, eyeing potential reinforcements, has singled out Jorginho and Kai Havertz as prime targets.

Despite Barcelona’s pursuit, both players appear firmly embedded in Arsenal’s long-term plans. Jorginho, the esteemed Italian midfielder, has seen a reduction in his playing time owing to the emergence of Declan Rice.

Nonetheless, Jorginho and his representatives have vehemently dismissed any notions of departing from the Emirates Stadium. His contractual agreement with Arsenal spans until 2024, with the club retaining an option for an additional year.

Similarly, Kai Havertz, amidst initial struggles following his high-profile move from Chelsea, has garnered unwavering support from Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta.

In a recent media briefing, Arteta reiterated his dedication to nurturing Havertz’s talent, acknowledging areas for improvement while expressing faith in the player’s abilities.

Arteta underscored the significance of providing steadfast support to players, particularly those who consistently exhibit dedication and effort on the field.

He emphasized the collective responsibility of the coaching staff in aiding player development and performance enhancement.

Barcelona’s interest in Jorginho and Havertz is rooted in their strategic anticipation of favorable opportunities during the upcoming transfer window, reminiscent of their successful loan acquisitions of Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo last summer.

Barcelona aims to secure players who were once regarded as marquee signings but are now potentially available at reduced costs, aligning with Jorginho and Havertz’s current valuation, as evaluated by the club.

Jorginho was acquired by Arsenal from Chelsea for €11.3 million, with his market value initially estimated at €35 million, now reduced to €25 million.

Similarly, Havertz’s acquisition from Chelsea cost Arsenal €75 million, with his market value remaining stable at €55 million.

While Barcelona’s formal approach for Jorginho or Havertz remains uncertain, their identification as prime targets underscores the club’s proactive approach to the transfer market.

With ambitions of reclaiming their status as European football elites, Barcelona aims to attract seasoned talents to bolster their squad and reignite their dominance on the continental stage.
