BREAKING NEWS:Chelsea to secure TWO more moves in the next days following Estevao Willian’s arrival to Chelsea – Romano verifies

Chelsea is poised to finalize the acquisition of two more promising young talents, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano. Despite facing significant criticism, Chelsea’s transfer strategy under Todd Boehly remains focused on recruiting some of the globe’s best young players, a trend that has persisted since Boehly and his consortium took control in 2022.

One of the expected signings is Pedro Lima, a 17-year-old full-back from Sport Recife who has drawn comparisons to a young Cafu. Initially reported by FootballTransfers and corroborated by Romano, Lima is anticipated to join Chelsea’s sister club Strasbourg.

Additionally, Chelsea is on the verge of finalizing the €65 million acquisition of Palmeiras prodigy Estevao Willian, a move that has been verbally agreed upon for several weeks and is now nearing completion.

Romano has now disclosed that Chelsea is set to secure long-term commitments from two more young talents.

Pape Diong, a Senegalese youth international, is expected to sign with Strasbourg. Diong, who had trained with Chelsea earlier in the year, was originally slated to join the Blues but is now viewed as better suited to start his European career in Ligue 1.

This arrangement also alleviates Chelsea’s wage bill slightly, providing a modest financial reprieve ahead of an anticipated extensive summer transfer window.

In addition to Diong, Chelsea is on the brink of signing defender Tayo Subuloye. Subuloye, who has captained Chelsea’s U16 team and played for the U18s, is set to ink his first professional contract with the Blues, despite interest from other Premier League clubs.

Overall, these moves highlight Chelsea’s ongoing commitment to securing top young talent and strategically placing them in environments where they can develop effectively, ensuring the club’s future competitiveness.
