Atletico Madrid is reportedly “willing to offer” Joao Felix in a bid to acquire Manchester City’s forward Julian Alvarez, according to HITC Football. Felix, who recently returned from a loan spell at Barcelona and is not in Atletico’s future plans, is being used as a potential trade asset to bring the Argentine attacker to the Wanda Metropolitano.
Despite Atletico’s interest, there is no strong indication that Manchester City is keen on bringing in Felix, especially since they are intent on retaining Alvarez.
Manchester City’s manager, Pep Guardiola, and his team are reportedly firm in their stance that Alvarez is not for sale, showing little interest in parting with the talented striker. The Premier League champions value Alvarez highly, and Atletico’s pursuit might face significant hurdles as a result.
