BREAKING NEWS: Chelsea fans favorite player leaves club after 9-years as Chelsea completes another deal

Newcastle United has confirmed the permanent signing of Lewis Hall, a young defender from Chelsea, following the conclusion of his season-long loan.

The agreement between the two clubs includes a transfer fee of £28 million, with potential add-ons amounting to an additional £7 million.

Hall, 19, originally hails from Newcastle and made a notable impact during his time with the Magpies. He debuted in the Premier League in September last year during an impressive 8-0 victory over Sheffield United.

Throughout the season, Hall appeared in 22 matches across various competitions, demonstrating his versatility and potential.

During his loan spell, Hall scored two goals for Newcastle. His first goal was netted in November during a 3-0 EFL Cup triumph over Manchester United. He later found the back of the net again in May during a closely contested 3-2 Premier League defeat.

Having represented England at the Under-21 level, Hall has now committed to a long-term contract with Newcastle United.

This move concludes his nine-year tenure with Chelsea, where he made 12 senior appearances. Hall’s transition to Newcastle marks a significant step in his career as he looks to further his development and contribute to his hometown club’s ambitions.
