BREAKING NEWS:Arsenal is nearing completion of a transformative deal worth £40 million, which includes a cash payment alongside a player swap sending Nketiah to Everton in exchange for Amadou Onana. This strategic move aims to enhance Arsenal’s midfield under Mikel Arteta’s leadership, generating buzz throughout football as Arsenal seeks to reshape their squad and potentially redefine their season with this significant exchange.

Arsenal is actively looking to enhance their midfield options by pursuing Amadou Onana from Everton, having initiated contact on the first day of the transfer window. Everton has placed a £50 million valuation on Onana, but Arsenal is considering offering players in exchange to bring down the cost.

Four Arsenal players are being considered for a potential swap deal: Eddie Nketiah, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, and Mohamed Elneny.

Among them, Nketiah, who is valued at £30 million, has garnered interest from various Premier League clubs, including Everton.

With Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s possible departure from Goodison Park, Nketiah could be a valuable asset for Everton, making a swap deal beneficial for both teams.

Lokonga, who is not in Arsenal’s future plans, could serve as a viable replacement for Onana at Everton. By including players such as Nketiah and Lokonga in the deal, Arsenal could significantly reduce the financial strain of acquiring Onana, thus making the transfer advantageous for both clubs involved.

This transfer window is proving to be an eventful one, with numerous deals and negotiations taking place.

For instance, Manchester United’s potential acquisition of Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton might influence the valuation of Onana.

In other football updates, Real Madrid is reportedly eyeing Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, while Dani Carvajal has urged his club to pursue Manchester City star Rodri.

Meanwhile, Arsenal has submitted an improved bid to secure Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna and is expected to announce their second signing of the summer transfer window shortly.
