Former Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka has lauded his former club’s recent acquisition of one of their most talented attackers. Anelka, who played for Chelsea during his career, has congratulated his old team on what he describes as “the best transfer deal” the club has made “this decade.”

In an online interview, Anelka shared his thoughts on Chelsea’s current transfer activities. He commended the club for securing a significant deal while also touching on aspects he wasn’t pleased with.
Anelka expressed his admiration for the new Brazilian signing, Estevao, stating, “The Estevao lad is amazing, I adore him, and I believe this is the best transfer Chelsea has made in a decade.
He’s pretty good.” He also voiced his concerns about the team’s recent tendency to sell players, but emphasized his excitement about Estevao: “You know, I don’t really like the way the team is selling players these days, but what’s the issue with this Brazilian kid? It’s incredible. I’d really like to watch him play for the Blues.”
Chelsea continues to pursue additional transfers, including a potential deal for Nico Williams. Cucurella has mentioned his efforts to bring Williams to Chelsea as part of the ongoing transfer strategy.
With a new manager at the helm, the Blues are aiming to build a strong team for the upcoming season, and more signings are expected as they finalize their transfer plans.
