BREAKING NEWS:“I love his style of play” “Got Hazard vibes of play– Willian Borges urges Chelsea to sign £52M star who told Chelsea to pay his release clause

Willian Borges suggests that if Chelsea decides to go after Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig, they might secure a player with qualities reminiscent of Eden Hazard. Olmo, a Spanish international, has been closely linked to Chelsea, one of Willian’s former teams. In an interview with Paddy Power, Willian expressed his belief that Olmo would be an excellent addition to the Blues:

“I’d like to see Dani Olmo at Chelsea. He is a creative player and has a lot of quality technically. A bit like Eden Hazard, he’s so mobile and loves to get on the ball. Hazard was playing like that at Chelsea, and they have the same technique. His finishing is fantastic – maybe Chelsea should try and get him.”

However, clubs interested in Olmo need to act swiftly. The 26-year-old’s contract includes a release clause that expires on Saturday, July 20th, allowing him to be signed for €60 million (£50 million). After this date, his price might increase by €10 million to €20 million.

Considering his standout performances in the European Championships, it would be prudent for teams to make a move now while he is still available at a more affordable price.

Despite this, Chelsea may focus on other targets. Olmo occupies similar positions to Christopher Nkunku and Cole Palmer, which could be a reason why Chelsea might not pursue him aggressively. The recruitment team appears more interested in acquiring a striker and a right-footed left-winger.

Among the forwards on Chelsea’s radar are Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, Newcastle’s Alexander Isak, Manchester City’s Julian Alvarez, and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins, although their availability and feasibility remain uncertain.

In the winger category, Chelsea has been linked to Leeds’ Crysencio Summerville, Rennes’ Desire Doue, Porto’s Francisco Conceicao, and Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi. While Olmo is an appealing prospect, Chelsea’s recruitment priorities might lead them to explore other options to strengthen their squad.
