BREAKING NEWS:”I’ve decided to join them, but seeing him at the club still makes me hesitate because I don’t want to be associated with a flop,” said Manuel Ugarte, Man United transfer target, as he urged Ten Hag to release the £40m player before agreeing to join Man United this summer.

Manchester United are hesitant to meet Paris Saint-Germain’s hefty valuation for Manuel Ugarte, despite having agreed on personal terms with the midfielder, reports indicate.

Following their acquisitions of Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and young French center-back Leny Yoro from Lille, the Red Devils are now focused on securing a defensive midfielder.

Their target appears to be Ugarte, with multiple sources stating that the Uruguay international has already reached an agreement on personal terms with Manchester United.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently revealed that the next step involves Manchester United and PSG negotiating a transfer fee, with influential agent Jorge Mendes expected to play a crucial role.

In his Caught Offside column, Romano wrote: “Manchester United have settled personal terms with Manuel Ugarte; he is eager for the transfer.

The matter now hinges on United and PSG finalizing the fee, with the potential exits of Casemiro or McTominay contingent on favorable offers.”

Romano elaborated, stating: “After securing center-back Leny Yoro and striker Joshua Zirkzee, Manchester United are now focusing on reinforcing their midfield.

The departure of Casemiro is significant, though I cannot confirm any issues with selling him affecting Ugarte’s transfer. Interest from Saudi Arabia in Casemiro persists, but negotiations over contracts and transfer fees can be time-consuming.”
