BREAKING NEWS:Xavi Simons has stated that he will join Manchester United on one condition, responding to transfer rumors involving both Manchester United and Arsenal.

Xavi Simons, who rejoined PSG last year, appears unlikely to stay with the club for the upcoming season, as reported by Le Parisien.

Although there were rumors of him moving to England this summer, it seems Simons is targeting a Premier League switch next summer, which is his top priority.

Simons, 21, is a product of Barcelona’s academy and joined PSG in 2021. He then returned to the Netherlands, signing with PSV Eindhoven, where he had an outstanding 2022/23 season, scoring 22 goals.

PSG exercised a £5 million buyback clause to bring him back and immediately loaned him to RB Leipzig. At Leipzig, Simons impressed, tallying eight goals and 11 assists in the Bundesliga.

Despite his promising performances, Simons’ future at PSG remains uncertain. He hasn’t fully established himself in the team, leading to speculation that he might make a big-money move away from the Parc des Princes in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal has long shown interest in Simons, and recent reports indicate that Manchester United has also entered the race for his signature.

When asked about his future following the Netherlands’ goalless draw with France at Euro 2024, Simons expressed uncertainty. He stated, “My future? I don’t know yet. I’m here, happy, with my national team. We’ll see after the Euros what happens. Do I want to return to Paris? I was happy in Paris, things happened.

I was at Leipzig this season.” His comments suggest that he is keeping his options open and will decide after the tournament concludes.
