MONDAY AFTERNOON DEAL: Manchester United has finalized personal terms to sign a six-time league champion, with paperwork completed as the player prepares to arrive in style for his medical.

Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with Bayern Munich’s right-back, Noussair Mazraoui, according to sources from Football Insider.

Negotiations are set to continue on Monday between the two clubs to finalize the transfer fee and payment structure.

Previously, Mazraoui was in discussions with West Ham United earlier this summer but declined their offer. Now, the 26-year-old Moroccan international has agreed in principle to a move to Old Trafford, bringing the deal closer to completion.

Mazraoui has been with Bayern Munich since 2022, making 55 appearances for the club, including 29 matches last season across all competitions, where he provided four assists.

The potential signing of Mazraoui by Manchester United could have implications for the current squad, particularly Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The club’s manager, Erik ten Hag, is focused on strengthening the defense, as evidenced by the recent addition of Leny Yoro.

Wan-Bissaka could become surplus to requirements with Mazraoui’s arrival, possibly leading to his departure from the club.

Additionally, United is open to offers for other defenders, including Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof.
