PLAYER CONFIRMS APPROVAL: Manchester United have reached an agreement with the club for the transfer of a 22-year-old, valued between £30 million and £34 million, as the player has also agreed terms with the club.

Manchester United, often referred to as the Red Devils, are actively seeking to bolster their squad, particularly in the midfield. The club is reportedly planning to bring in a talented midfielder to strengthen their core.

According to a recent edition of *Sport*, the 20-time English champions are making significant financial investments in the transfer market, aiming to be competitive for major titles in the upcoming season.

Despite finishing eighth in the Premier League last season and not qualifying for the UEFA Champions League, United is not holding back in their recruitment efforts.

In the attacking department, manager Erik ten Hag has already made a notable signing, bringing in Joshua Zirkzee to replace Anthony Martial. Additionally, to solidify their defense, United has signed Leny Yoro from Lille as a replacement for the experienced Raphael Varane, a four-time Champions League winner.

Following Yoro’s arrival, *Sport* reports that the next expected signing is Manuel Ugarte, a South American midfielder. The publication suggests that Ugarte’s playing style and profile are well-suited to Manchester United.

The transfer fee for Ugarte is anticipated to be around £58.9 million (approximately 70 million euros). French media outlet FM recently reported that Ugarte has already agreed to personal terms with United, and the club is nearing an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer.

A top team typically requires a high-quality defensive midfielder, and with rivals like Manchester City and Arsenal boasting world-class players in Rodri and Declan Rice, respectively, United’s pursuit of Ugarte seems to be a strategic move.

The question remains whether Manchester United should secure the signing of Ugarte to enhance their squad’s strength in midfield.
