BREAKING NEWS: Manchester City player bids ‘farewell’ to Guardiola as a transfer to Real Madrid nears completion.

Based on rumors, Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez is reportedly nearing a summer transfer to Real Madrid.

On the penultimate day of the season, Pep Guardiola’s team secured the Premier League title by defeating Arsenal and finishing two points ahead, marking their fourth consecutive league triumph.

Speculation suggests Guardiola might leave when his contract expires in 2025, cementing his legacy as one of the Premier League’s greatest managers. This has sparked transfer rumors involving some of his top players and connections to the England manager’s position post-Gareth Southgate.

Among those potentially leaving before the transfer window closes are Alvarez, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Ederson, and Jack Grealish.

Initially, Manchester City was reportedly asking for around £60 million for Alvarez, but a later rumor indicated they lowered the price to £40 million, aiming to offload a disgruntled player before the end of August.

Alvarez is reportedly unhappy with his playing time under Guardiola and has stated that he “will decide” his future after the Olympics.
