Liam Delap, a striker from Manchester City, has made a permanent move to Ipswich Town, a newly promoted team in the Premier League.
Delap, an England Under-21 international, first appeared for Manchester City’s senior team in September 2020, under the guidance of Pep Guardiola.
He scored a remarkable goal during his debut, contributing to Manchester City’s 2-1 victory over Bournemouth in the third round of the Carabao Cup at the Etihad Stadium.
Over his time with Manchester City, Delap played in six professional matches, including a Champions League away game against Sporting in February 2021 and a Premier League match against Leicester in September 2020.
He also gained experience through loan spells at Stoke City and Preston North End.
Manchester City expressed their well-wishes for Delap’s future, stating on Saturday, “Everyone at City wishes Liam the very best of luck going ahead.”
