BREAKING NEWS: Manchester United vs Real Betis second half live

According to The Mirror, new Manchester United signing Leny Yoro will be sidelined for three months due to a foot injury sustained during a pre-season friendly against Arsenal on the first match of their US tour. Yoro was seen on crutches with his left foot in a protective plastic boot in the US.

Adding to the team’s woes, Rasmus Hojlund is also set to miss the start of the 2024/25 season due to a hamstring injury. However, the Danish striker’s absence is expected to last around six weeks.

These injuries have sparked speculation about United potentially entering the transfer market for another center-back, with rumors linking them to Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt and Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite.

The situation is far from ideal for manager Erik ten Hag and his staff, as they face a familiar challenge of dealing with injuries in the squad, reminiscent of last season’s defensive issues.

Currently, United are playing against Real Betis in San Diego, and the team hopes to avoid any further injuries during the match.
