BREAKING NEWS: “Pep Guardiola should permit him to join us at Al-Nassr so we can secure the Saudi Pro League title.”

Kevin De Bruyne has suggested that Saudi Arabia could be a future destination for him due to the substantial financial incentives available. The Saudi Pro League is becoming increasingly competitive, attracting former Manchester City players like Aymeric Laporte, Riyad Mahrez, and now Joao Cancelo, all of whom are contributing to the league’s rising standards.

Despite this growing appeal, many players from top European clubs, especially those at the Etihad Stadium, prefer to stay in Europe. Cristiano Ronaldo, for instance, has expressed interest in having Mateo Kovacic join him at Al-Nassr.

Kovacic, who has been an essential player for Manchester City, consistently starts in the Premier League and is a key figure in their squad. Even at thirty, the Croatian international continues to demonstrate that he has much to offer at the highest level of football.

Given his significant role at Manchester City and their recent Premier League success, Kovacic appears content with his current situation. However, Al-Nassr, under Ronaldo’s influence, views the addition of Kovacic as potentially game-changing for their team.

According to CBS Sports, Al-Nassr is considering a January move for Kovacic and is prepared to offer a weekly salary exceeding $1 million (£759,650) to secure his services. Notably, Kovacic and Ronaldo were former teammates at Real Madrid, adding an extra layer of intrigue to this potential transfer.
