He further vowed to have a personal issue with Arteta if the player is started, hinting that this decision could cost Arsenal once again. Notably, Wenger clarified that he was not referring to Kai Havertz, Leandro Trossard, or Gabriel Martinelli.

In another development, it appears that Arsenal’s current manager, Mikel Arteta, may have lost faith in Gabriel Jesus, the Brazilian forward, amid ongoing struggles.

Jesus, who was signed from Manchester City for £45 million in the summer of 2022, has underwhelmed at Arsenal. Despite initial high expectations from fans, Jesus has managed to score only 19 goals in 77 appearances for the club.

However, Šeško’s outstanding performances this season, including six goals and a brace against Juventus in the Champions League, have seemingly reignited Arteta’s interest. Reports suggest that Arsenal and Leipzig have already opened talks, and Šeško’s £55 million release clause may lead to a move in 2025, fitting Arteta’s philosophy of developing young talents for the future.
