Mikel Arteta has reportedly given an ultimatum to a £50m Arsenal player, stating that the player must either leave the club by January or Arteta himself could face the sack. Arteta expressed frustration, claiming that managing the same player has caused him to miss out on the Premier League title twice.
He has advised the player to find a new club before the January transfer window closes, warning that the player’s contract might be terminated if he does not move.
Meanwhile, Gabriel Jesus is going through a rough patch at Arsenal, struggling to find the back of the net. This has led to growing concerns among Arsenal fans, with some calling for the Brazilian forward to be replaced. Despite being signed as a key striker, Jesus has not been able to consistently deliver goals, which has put pressure on both him and the club.
To bolster the squad, Arsenal brought in Kai Havertz, primarily to reinforce the midfield. However, Havertz has often been preferred over Jesus in the striking role, even though he was initially expected to strengthen the midfield. This shift in roles highlights the depth of Arsenal’s concerns over Jesus’ goal drought, which has lasted several months.

Though Jesus is reportedly happy living in London and likely earns a higher salary at Arsenal than he would at Palmeiras, the Brazilian club remains keen to secure his return.
Despite this, Arsenal is not currently considering selling him, according to reports. The Gunners are said to be planning to keep Jesus at least until next summer, as they hope the Brazilian can rediscover his form and contribute to the team’s success.
