BREAKING NEWS: “Following Manchester United’s game against Chelsea, it’s evident that the board must supply Ruben Amorim with two essential resources if they expect the results we’re hoping for. I believe he will surpass Erik ten Hag’s performance,” Nani stated, urging Manchester United to provide the necessary support for Amorim’s success, especially considering the struggles Ten Hag faced. This is invaluable advice from the United icon 👏💯. We’re eagerly awaiting his arrival 🥹🙏

Manchester United legend Nani has advised his former club to support incoming manager Ruben Amorim with both patience and high-caliber players, emphasizing the importance of a stable foundation for Amorim’s first role outside Portugal.

Amorim, who earned accolades with Sporting CP—including a Liga Portugal title in his first season—is expected to take the reins following the November international break, succeeding Erik ten Hag.

Nani, who briefly played alongside Amorim on the Portuguese national team, expressed confidence in his former teammate’s ability to lead at Old Trafford. “He’s done exceptional work at Sporting,” Nani commented, suggesting that with time and the right team, Amorim can thrive at Manchester United, which he described as “one of the world’s best clubs.”

Despite significant spending under Ten Hag, which included an estimated £600 million investment in 21 players and winning both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup, United fell short of expectations, ending the season in a disappointing eighth position.

Amorim, however, appears cautious about bringing in players from Sporting, humorously noting that Sporting’s forward Viktor Gyokeres, with a price tag of €100 million (£84m), would be out of reach for United’s January transfer plans.

Nani’s call for patience and quality support underlines a common concern that new managers need ample time to adapt, especially in the demanding environment of the Premier League.

By emphasizing both time and resources, Nani is advocating for a balanced approach, hoping that Manchester United’s leadership will allow Amorim to develop his style and make necessary adjustments with a team tailored to his vision.
