Casado, despite experiencing a slight dip in form recently, has shown great promise in his first season, and at just 21 years old, the club remains confident in his development. Meanwhile, De Jong has consistently delivered solid performances, though his long-term future remains uncertain, with his contract set to expire in 2026.
Barcelona’s decision to refrain from making new signings also reflects their confidence in another young talent—Marc Bernal. The club views him as a future star in midfield, potentially filling the void left by Sergio Busquets.
