Liverpool is preparing for crucial fixtures as they seek to maintain their lead over Arsenal in the Premier League title race.
After a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Wolves on Sunday, Liverpool extended their advantage over Arsenal to seven points. The game saw Luis Díaz open the scoring for the Reds in the 15th minute, followed by Mohamed Salah doubling the lead from the penalty spot just past the half-hour mark. Although Matheus Cunha pulled one back for Wolves in the second half, Liverpool held on to secure all three points.
This result puts Liverpool in a position to potentially increase their lead to 10 points, at least temporarily. They return to action on Wednesday night, while Arsenal will play their next match against West Ham over the weekend.

According to Isaac Seelochan of The Liverpool Echo, Arsenal should be able to stay in contention for a while longer given their upcoming fixtures. He suggests that their away trip to Nottingham Forest could be their biggest challenge, while matches against Manchester United and Chelsea may not be overly difficult considering Arsenal’s current form.
However, Liverpool faces a tougher run of games, which could add pressure in the title race. Their next challenge comes on Wednesday night with an away fixture against Aston Villa, a match that will test their resilience, especially after Manchester City’s dominant 4-0 win over Newcastle on Saturday.
Despite this, Liverpool remains in a strong position. Arsenal’s lack of attacking options could play into Liverpool’s favor, making it difficult for Mikel Arteta’s side to sustain their challenge until the end of the season.
