Hansi Flick has decided to remove the Barcelona star from his plans, and the player is now out of Camp Nou. Deco has received the name of his replacement with a clear directive: “Sign him immediately—he’s an incredible talent!”

According to reports from the Spanish newspaper El Nacional, FC Barcelona’s head coach, Hansi Flick, has made a decisive call regarding the club’s plans for the upcoming season.

The German manager has chosen to exclude Héctor Fort from his future plans and is actively seeking a dependable signing to bolster the right-back position.

Despite Fort being the only real competitor to Jules Koundé in that role, Flick remains unconvinced by his abilities and has opted not to rely on him moving forward. Instead, the most likely candidate to fill the position is Rayo Vallecano’s right-back, Andre Ratiu, who has impressed Barcelona’s scouting team with his versatility and quality.

Héctor Fort, a promising talent from Barcelona’s youth academy, has struggled to secure playing time under Flick. Despite being considered one of La Masia’s bright prospects, he has not been able to prove himself to the German coach, who appears to favor more experienced players in such a crucial defensive role.

Throughout this season, Fort’s opportunities have been limited, and the lack of consistent game time has further solidified Flick’s decision to exclude him from the squad’s future plans.

Although the young full-back has shown glimpses of his potential, Flick believes Barcelona needs a more reliable and well-rounded option to compete at the highest level.

The front-runner to replace Fort in the squad is Andre Ratiu, a Romanian full-back who has delivered an impressive season at Rayo Vallecano. Known for his speed, attacking runs, and defensive solidity, Ratiu has attracted interest from Barcelona due to his ability to play both as a traditional right-back and as a wing-back.

His versatility makes him an appealing option for Flick, who values players capable of adapting to different tactical setups.

Financially, Ratiu’s signing appears feasible for Barcelona. With an estimated market value of around €15 million, the club views him as a cost-effective yet high-quality reinforcement.

His arrival would also allow Koundé to receive adequate rest without compromising the team’s defensive stability, which is crucial given Barcelona’s packed schedule across multiple competitions.

If Barcelona secures Ratiu’s signature, their defense would be significantly strengthened ahead of the new season.

The Romanian would provide competition for Koundé while adding depth to the squad, ensuring a healthy balance between youthful potential and experienced reliability—an aspect that aligns with Flick’s vision for the team.
