BREAKING NEWS: Manchester City is poised to sign a young star from Bayern Munich as a possible replacement for Kevin De Bruyne, should he leave for Saudi Arabia this summer.

Kevin De Bruyne has been heavily linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League this summer, as his contract with Manchester City expires in the summer of 2025.

Although the eight-time Premier League champions are reluctant to let the Belgian star go, they are preparing for a future without him.

According to Christian Falk, Manchester City views Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala as De Bruyne’s potential successor. The 21-year-old has impressed since his debut with Bayern in 2020 and is seen as a suitable replacement for De Bruyne in Pep Guardiola’s squad.

Last season, Musiala was in contract negotiations with Bayern Munich, but talks stalled during the summer. Manchester City, with their substantial financial resources, is well-positioned to secure a deal for the German star.

Manchester City’s primary aim is to retain De Bruyne, but they are hesitant to offer him a long-term contract extension and will not obstruct his departure if he decides to leave.
