While Liverpool has yet to secure any new players, Manchester United has already signed Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee. The club is looking to further strengthen their squad by adding players in the right-back, centre-back, and central midfield positions. However, before these new acquisitions can be finalized, some current players must be sold.
To avoid any delays, Manchester United is proactively making preparations to ensure they can make swift moves once player sales are completed. They aim to have a successful transfer window by bringing in Noussair Mazraoui, Matthijs De Ligt, and Manuel Ugarte.
Personal terms have already been agreed upon with these three players, and five-year contracts, with an option for a sixth year, are ready to be signed.
One crucial move for Manchester United is selling Aaron Wan-Bissaka before they can finalize Mazraoui’s transfer.
West Ham is pushing forward with their efforts to sign Wan-Bissaka as part of a significant recruitment drive, which also includes targeting Guido Rodriguez, Crysencio Summerville from Leeds United, and Niclas Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund. From Manchester United’s perspective, Wan-Bissaka’s transfer is the most important among these.
Wan-Bissaka, who is 26 years old, has verbally agreed to personal terms with West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui. Discussions about the transfer fee and payment structure are advancing rapidly. Manchester United is reportedly seeking a fee in the range of £15 million to £18 million for Wan-Bissaka.
Although a final deal between the two clubs has not yet been reached, reports from Sky Germany and fresh updates from France suggest that it is only a matter of time.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Manchester United will sign Mazraoui “as soon as” Wan-Bissaka is sold. Additional positive reports are coming from the French outlet Foot Mercato, indicating that the deals are progressing well.
